Professional Manufacture American Standard 6C Series Cast Iron QD Sheaves For C Belts
6C series 6 groove QD bushing pulley is used for C, CX, belt, and CC v belt; Their diameters range from 6.40 inches to 50.40 inches. Depending on the pulley size, they use SF, E, F, J, or M QD (quick disassembly) bushings, which we also have in stock. Most 6C QD pulleys are high-strength grade 35 cast iron, phosphate-coated, and anti-corrosion paint. All these are balanced at the factory to ensure the machine’s smooth operation.

How to select the correct V-pulley?
If you are looking for V-pulleys for your project, you need to know what type of pulley you need. There are 4 basic types: variable speed, stepping, double teeth, and fractional horsepower. Knowing which type is right for your application is critical to avoiding unnecessary problems and improving project efficiency.
variable speed
Variable speed V-belt pulley is a variable speed V-belt pulley with variable distance. This type of pulley has high flexibility and efficiency. These pulleys can be purchased with stock, taper, or finish machined holes.
Variable-speed V-pulleys are used in various applications and are designed to match different belts. They are used for multiple straps and feature flanges that conform to standard belt angles and widths. Matching the correct pulley model with the right belt ensures the correct speed and torque.
These pulleys are usually cast iron. They can vary the pitch and are suitable for 3L, 4L, and 5L V-belts. They can also be used with Type A V-belts. Two-piece cast iron design, easy and fast installation.
Tension cable
The first step in selecting a suitable V-pulley is to know its size. There are several different ways to measure the length of the V-belt. Determining the length of the V-belt can be a challenging task. The correct height requires measuring the clamp, the specific pulley diameter, and the ability to apply a particular tension. The Rubber Products Manufacturers Association (ARPA) establishes the measurement standards. There are many terms used to describe the length of a belt segment.
Before purchasing a replacement V-belt, measure the dimensions of the original belt. Steel tape or a ruler can be used. You can turn the belt to measure the distance and then use the measuring equipment to measure accurately. If the existing belt is worn, the length will be less than the new belt. The width of the new belt should be 0.5 inches smaller than the original belt.
